Common questions
Full FAQHow do I sync my Shopify products?
Go to Settings → Shopify Sync and click 'Start Import'. GoStock will pull your products, locations, and inventory levels automatically.
Why is my inventory out of sync?
GoStock reconciles with Shopify every hour. You can trigger a manual sync from Settings → Shopify Sync → 'Reconcile Now'.
How do I set reorder points?
Open a product, go to the Replenishment tab, and set a min and max quantity per location. GoStock will alert you when stock falls below the minimum.
Can I receive a partial shipment?
Yes. When receiving a PO, enter the quantities you actually received. The PO will move to 'Partially Received' and you can receive the remainder later.

What changed for merchants
- The notification bell is now an inbox — release news and messages from support land there, stay readable per store, and are retried instead of lost if a delivery fails.
- Stock, order and product updates from Shopify are processed in the background, so changes that arrive out of order — like a cancellation before its order — are retried instead of dropped. Transfers pushed to Shopify work again.
- Creating a product from a purchase order now reports a Shopify failure instead of hiding it, lets you retry it yourself, and adds a Draft/Active control.
- Sales reports value stock at your weighted-average cost instead of the latest price you paid, and printing or exporting keeps the columns you chose on screen.
- “Save & Mark as Ordered” is now separate from “Send to Vendor”, and purchase orders show a grand total of ordered units — on screen and in the PDF, now with separators between line items.
- Product search is fast again on large catalogues, starting a stocktake no longer fails on big product lists, and restarts no longer serve requests before the app is ready.

- Landed cost is now valued per shipment — split and partial deliveries use their own freight and their own lines instead of one blended figure.
